Adidas to continue NFF partnership

Lagos - Sports Kit manufacturing giants, Adidas have provisionally agreed to extend their kit sponsorship deal with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) pending a contract renewal, SuperSport reports.
NFF President, Amaju Pinnick explained that the Federation had earlier planned to renew the contract, which
runs out at the end of December.
The NFF chief then revealed that the leadership crisis that engulfed the NFF in recent months occasioned the delay in the renewal of the kit sponsorship contract.

“We requested for an extension which has been granted to us and we will see how we can tidy up and get Adidas back because we have a prime commodity in the Super Falcons playing in the World Cup next year,” Pinnick said on Tuesday.
Nigeria’s U-20 football team, the Flying Eagles are also due to compete at the African championships in Senegal and Pinnick said the Falcons would not be the only beneficiaries of the deal.
