A visit to the National Stadium, Surulere, has resulted in some very distressing images of ruins.
Broken doors, unkempt, poor facility management, has put the stadium in a completely deprived state despite the fact that, earlier this year, President Goodluck Jonathan had approved the concession of the structure.

The roofs of the spectators’ stands are falling and the ambience welcomes visitors with smell of urine and faeces.
