Pictures From The Aftermath Of The Explosion in Akure

 On 14th of December, it was reported that an explosion hit the city of Akure.
Soon after the blast, sources revealed that it was an explosion at a gas station located along the  Arakale Road area of the city.
Although the number of casualties could not be ascertained, there were quite a few people injured. Governor of Ondo state, Dr Olusegun Mimiko was at the scene of the blast. So was the Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, Dr Bade Omoloja.
Naij.com correspondent visited the scene and also the healthcare centre were the the injured are being treated.

It will be recalled that on the 11th of December, an explosion rocked the city of Jos, leaving at least 31 people dead and many injured.
