Should politicians go for psychiatric examination?

Few days ago, Dr Kayode Obembe, the President of the Nigerian Medical Association, NMA, recommended that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, should make

it mandatory for political office holders and those seeking elective positions in the country to go for psychiatric evaluation before they are allowed to contest.

He said this based on the way these people behave once they get into power, relegating anything good to the background while going about with impunity.
