The saga started October 28 when about 2,000 soldiers from 213
battalion, 234 battalion, Army headquarters Team A and Task Force Mike,
sent for anti Boko Haram operation, allegedly abandoned orders to fight.
According to the fresh update the detained soldiers were ordered to be dismissed, which instruction allegedly came directly from the Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Kenneth Minimah.
Several sacked soldiers lamented they had not faced a fair hearing adding that they had not even been given a change to explain themselves.
