An English television presenter Michaela Strachan has recently admitted that she wants to be eaten by sharks.
The 48-year-old woman, who now lives in South Africa and works for the BBC, revealed her quite unusual desire to be fed to sharks when she dies.
Speaking about her future funeral, she said, “I’ll be buried in a biodegradable box, or have my body fed to sharks! I also want people to be sad – having a party and getting drunk seems so disrespectful.”
It will be recalled that, about a month ago, a wildlife expert wanted to be eaten alive by an anaconda and fulfilled this insane venture despite harsh criticism from animal activists. The 27-year-old put on a ‘snake-proof’ suit, let himself be ‘eaten alive’ by a giant snake and later revealed how it was.
Strachan is a celebrity supporter of the charity World Vision, a children’s sponsor. She also supports their Alternative Gifts charity; life-changing gifts for communities in the developing world.
