Truly the Joint Forces against boko haram are making Progress, see unbelievable real time pictures

Even as Nigerians prepare to vote their leaders in the forthcoming  general elections, many people will still focus on the joint efforts of the Nigerian, Nigerien and Chadian troops efforts to flush out the terrorist group, Boko Haram from the North-East region of Nigeria.

The ongoing battle to completely dislodge the insurgents have been largely successful as the Boko Haram members are on the run and the troops have already begun re-capturing territories that were hitherto controlled by the insurgents before now.
The Nigerian elections had been postponed by the electoral umpire, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) with pressures from the Nigerian military, citing the battle against the insurgents as one of their reasons for pushing for a shift in the election dates.
The elections shift seem to have been justified as the Nigerian military have made appreciable progress in winning the war against the insurgents with help from their West African counterparts.
Reuters Joe Penny joins the Chadian and Nigerien troops in their operations in Damasak town in northern Nigeria which was re-captured from Boko Haram by the troops. See the images below:
