"Until we understand that u can't separate the singer from the song, then
we would keep arguing about worldly singers singing in church or not. A
woman of God told me in New York, "you don't play the trumpet, you are
the trumpet." I've said it time and time again, the instrument of
worship is our heart. Our various instruments, including the voice, are
mere amplifiers. So when a church invites a secular musician to come
"perform" their "gospel songs" in church, I wonder. because
it is hypocritical. No, don't just limit them to sing the songs they
have that sound like gospel. Allow them also perform the ones that talk
about sex; ikebe super, long tin, all the rest. Those very lewd once. If
we have invited them to church, we better allow them sing it all. It
would only amount to hypocrisy limiting them to ones they mentioned God.
Because the SONG AND THE SINGER ARE ONE."
