Miracle! - See Two Twin Girls Who Were Born Two Months Apart

A 41-year-old woman has given birth to twin girls in two different calendar years in Romania. 
The unusual twin girls were born nearly two months apart, as one of them was born in November 2014 and the other was delivered seven weeks later in January 2015. The pregnancy was going with no problems, the babies were determined as non-identical twins, i.e. they are from two eggs with two embryo sacs and two placentas.

The woman gave birth to her first daughter prematurely at seven months, and doctors expected the second twin to come shortly afterwards. But her contractions stopped, and she carried her second daughter for another seven weeks to give her more time for growth and development.

Finally, the second twin was born in January 2015 by Caesarean section and the girls stayed in hospital for some time as both of them were underweight, the first was weighing 900g and the second 1kg.

One of the doctors who helped the woman to deliver babies said this case was ‘extremely rare and unusual’, adding,“I don’t even know which medical mechanism stopped contractions for the second twin. It was nothing short of God’s miracle.”
