A 20,000 Liter tanker containing Vegetable oil fell on the Old Otta Road, Agege, Lagos. The event occurred yesterday evening when the trailer was about to deposit oil in an oil depot situated opposite the Agege General hospital. It was a dramatic scene because as the trailer was pouring out its content, some heartless people were busy getting containers to take the oil. Some even went as far as
going into the gutter to fetch it as it was coming out of a pipe which was meant for draining rain water. When the owner of the oil depot arrived the scene, she lamented in Yoruba: (Ye! Owo Jona)...Help later came as members of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) arrived the scene to keep a curb on those who were taking the oil. They were able to recover some of the oil from the wrong possessors. Hours later the truck was later removed by some hired people.
